The Memorial of Philip Husted

In October of 1990, as part requirement of a history course I was attending at the University of New Brunswick, I submitted an essay to Dr. Clarence Brown entitled, "The Memorial of Phillip Huestis". It was a factual account of the life of one obscure loyalist, my great-great-great-great grandfather, Phillip Huestis, of whom I had the good opportunity to research that previous year. This memorial is the culmination of twenty-five years effort to quantify everything I know about the largest Huestis family in New Brunswick. The index alone contains the names of 3387 people within 1779 different files through nine generations. This easy to use site allows you to click on any known relation and find fascinating facts about this Loyalist family. While I find this particular manuscript to be quite adequate in terms of content, it is far from complete. I can not go on, however, without the help of you, the reader. If you have a contribution to make, by all means please let me know. In any case, use what I have written, for it is the history of us all.

Finally, I look forward to hearing from you. You may leave a general comment in my guestbook, or contact me directly if you have a connection to someone listed here or would like to make a contribution to this site. Contact me at: Curtis_Mainville@Hotmail.com
